Terms of Use
Version 2026-10-03, in effect from 3 October 2026.
In short
- Haq is a drafting and tracking tool, not a law firm. It does not give legal advice or act for you.
- You check every draft, and you send, file and sign everything yourself.
- Deadlines and figures are worked out for you, but the law's time limits are what count. Check them, especially close to a deadline.
1. About these terms
Ambiful Haq ("Haq", "we", "us") is an app and website run by Ambiful Solutions Private Limited, whose registered office is at House No. 1145, Sector 9, Faridabad, Haryana 121006, India. These terms are an agreement between you and us about using Haq. You accept them when you tick "I agree" in the app; if you do not agree, please do not use Haq.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information and forms part of these terms.
We may change these terms. If a change matters, the app will show it and ask you to agree again before you carry on; smaller changes (wording, contact details) take effect when published here. The version you agreed to and when are recorded with your account.
2. What Haq is, and what it is not
Haq is a drafting and tracking tool. It helps you keep your bills, warranties and renewals, write complaints, notices and applications from fixed templates, keep track of deadlines and hearings, file RTI requests, and compare appliances before buying.
Haq is not a law firm and is not run by advocates acting for you. Nothing in Haq is legal advice. Using Haq does not create a lawyer–client relationship, and Haq does not act, appear, negotiate or file for you anywhere.
Haq is not part of, or approved by, any government body, Consumer Commission, the National Consumer Helpline, e-Jagriti, RTI Online, any public authority or any company you complain about.
For anything complicated, high in value, or close to a deadline, talk to a lawyer. Haq says so where it matters.
3. You decide and you act
You read every draft before you use it, change what is wrong, and decide whether to send or file it. You send every email, file every complaint, appeal or RTI request, and sign and post every notice yourself. Haq never sends, files or signs anything on your behalf.
You give true and complete information, about yourself and about the people you add (such as family members, with their agreement). A document is only as good as the facts you put in.
You are responsible for what you send and file, and for keeping your own copies of anything important.
4. Deadlines, figures and reminders
Haq works out dates and figures (time limits, fees, which Commission, interest, running costs) from the law and published sources, each recorded with its source. Laws, rules and fees change, and a source can be wrong or out of date. The time limits in the law are what count, not the dates Haq shows. Check them yourself, especially close to a deadline.
Reminders on your phone, by email or on WhatsApp are a help, not a guarantee: phones, networks and email can fail, and a reminder can arrive late or not at all. Do not rely on a reminder alone for a deadline.
Haq does not promise any result: no refund, compensation, order, reply or information is guaranteed. The relief calculator and Compare show sums worked out from your own figures; they are not predictions of what a company, Commission or authority will do.
5. Features that use AI
Some features use an AI service: reading the dates printed on a document, reading the figures on an appliance star label, and writing a plain-words summary of a comparison. These can misread or make mistakes. Haq always shows what was read for you to check, and nothing is saved until you confirm it. The summary is written only from figures Haq worked out and does not tell you what to buy.
Letters, notices, complaints and appeals are written from fixed templates, not by AI.
6. Compare and the shared label catalogue
When you save a comparison, the figures printed on each named model's star label (brand, model, stars, label period, energy use, efficiency and capacity) are added to a catalogue every Haq user can search. Prices, warranties and anything about you are never shared, and other users never see who added a model. You allow us to keep and show these label figures for this purpose, including after your account is deleted.
Catalogue figures come from other users' readings and may be wrong or out of date. Check them against the label in front of you.
7. Your content
What you put into Haq (documents, photos, notes, case details) stays yours. You allow us to store, process and display it only to run Haq for you, and as described in the Privacy Policy.
You can download everything (Account → Download my data) and delete your account at any time. Accounts unused for 12 months are deleted after email warnings, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Only add documents you are entitled to keep and share with us. Do not upload anything unlawful.
8. Email addresses and WhatsApp
Haq gives each case, and you, private email addresses for sending copies or forwarding bills. Only email from your own account address is accepted; anything else is discarded. Keep these addresses to yourself.
WhatsApp reminders are sent only if you turn them on by sending Haq a message from your WhatsApp; that message connects the number it came from. You can turn them off in the app at any time.
9. Paid packs
Some steps (such as the legal notice and the Consumer Commission complaint) can be unlocked for a case with a one-time in-app purchase. The price is shown in the app before you pay. Payment is taken by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their terms; refunds are requested from them, and a refunded pack is locked again.
Paying for a pack buys the use of Haq's templates for that case. It does not buy legal advice or any result.
10. Using Haq fairly
Do not use Haq to make false or abusive complaints, to harass anyone, to impersonate someone, or for anything unlawful. Do not try to break, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the app or its services, or reach other people's data.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
11. Our responsibility to you
We take reasonable care to run Haq well and keep your information safe, and we fix mistakes we are told about. Haq is otherwise provided as it is, and may sometimes be unavailable.
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for the outcome of any complaint, notice, application or appeal; for a deadline missed or a document sent or filed with a mistake you could have checked; or for indirect losses such as lost profits. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, or ₹1,000, whichever is higher.
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for fraud or gross negligence, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
12. If you misuse Haq
If someone makes a claim against us because you broke these terms or the law while using Haq (for example by filing a false complaint), you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim.
13. Grievance Officer
For any complaint about Haq, including about content or how your information is handled, write to our Grievance Officer at contact@ambiful.com, or by post to the Grievance Officer, Ambiful Solutions Private Limited, House No. 1145, Sector 9, Faridabad, Haryana 121006, India. We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days.
14. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes about them are for the courts at Faridabad, Haryana. This does not affect any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 to complain to a Consumer Commission where you live or work.
